Job Summary

Job Title: Radiology Technologist

MUSC Lancaster is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic radiographs and minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic procedures using imaging modalities
  • Apply principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle
  • Provide patient care essential to imaging procedures
  • Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed in South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
