We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Acoustical Consultant to enhance our Acoustics, Noise, and Vibration management team. The ideal candidate will provide strategic oversight, manage significant projects, and contribute to the team's ongoing development. This position demands extensive expertise in acoustical consulting, outstanding leadership capabilities, and robust business insight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer leadership and strategic guidance for the Acoustics, Noise, and Vibration division.
- Oversee large-scale, intricate acoustical consulting projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Perform advanced acoustical evaluations, noise and vibration analyses, and modeling for diverse projects, including architectural acoustics, MEP systems, environmental assessments, transportation, and construction.
- Design and implement innovative noise and vibration mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, presentations, and proposals for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management and multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, architects, and environmental scientists.
- Mentor and nurture junior and mid-level staff, promoting a culture of excellence and professional development.
- Lead business development initiatives, including client relationship management, identifying new opportunities, and proposal preparation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices in acoustics, noise, and vibration, applying this knowledge to enhance our service offerings.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in acoustical consulting, demonstrating a successful track record in project management and leadership.
- Extensive proficiency with acoustical modeling software (e.g., Treble, EASE, CadnaA, INSUL, AIM, etc.) and measurement tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Professional certifications (e.g., INCE Board Certification) are highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
