Job Title: Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join our team in Plymouth, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile programs and contribute to the company's success.

Job Summary:

The Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst will provide financial support and leadership to various individual programs/projects in a project accounting environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quarterly Profit & Loss statements, monitoring and managing program cost control, and creating monthly operations forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly Profit & Loss statements by major project
  • Monitor and manage program cost control by working well with the program and functional team
  • Create a monthly operations forecast for revenue, operating margin, and cash projections
  • Annual completion of a strategic 5-year plan for orders, revenue, operating margin, and cash
  • Ad hoc reporting/cost control reporting, including performance measurement and associated analysis, labor and material details by project
  • Be the point of contact for assigned programs/projects audit inquiries as they arise
  • Program cash management and working capital initiatives, including cash flow projects for potential/future orders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong Financial Analysis skills
  • Experience with Cost Control and Working Capital Management
  • Ability to work well with Operational team/program managers
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Earned Value a plus, but not required
  • ERP experience
  • Strong Excel background
