Facilities Maintenance Manager, HEB Region

Burlington Capital Properties is currently seeking applications for the Facilities Maintenance Manager role within our operations in the HEB region.
We are committed to delivering a superior living experience for our residents, and we are looking for candidates who exhibit strong skills in leadership, maintenance, repairs, and customer relations.
The maintenance team plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall aesthetics and upkeep of the property. We value managers who recognize their individual and collective contributions to the success of the property and the retention of residents.
The working hours for this role are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an 'on call' requirement for urgent maintenance needs during weekends and evenings on a rotating basis.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, oversee, and execute maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Supervise and conduct standard apartment maintenance, which may involve painting, carpet cleaning, and appliance repairs.
- Diagnose and assist in maintenance and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Support additional tasks as requested by management.
- Maintenance team members must be available for 'on call' duties.
- Manage expenses to align with budgetary constraints.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
- Engage in all resident activities and functions as directed by the property manager.
- Adhere to all safety and liability protocols as specified.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of significant maintenance requirements such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- A minimum of five years' experience in a supervisory capacity within maintenance or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance is preferred.
- Experience in appliance repair is advantageous.
- HVAC Certification is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record are required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Ability to interact positively with residents, staff, vendors, and the public.
