Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty HomeCare. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and be able to make decisions regarding patient care, adhering to all regulations and standards. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work well with diverse teams.

About the Role
• Provide quality nursing care to patients by following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies
• Assist physicians with rounds and provide care during medical examinations and treatments
• Maintain infection control measures and adhere to cleanliness and standard precautions
• Participate in research related to quality nursing care and assist with records, orders, and assessments as assigned
• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Requirements
• Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
• CPR certified yearly
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
