Mobility Operations Specialist

Liberty Health seeks an experienced Mobility Operations Specialist to coordinate the transportation of residents in a caring environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:Mobility Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Transportation Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents of our facility, ensuring timely and safe arrivals.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of all facility vehicles, adhering to regular inspection schedules and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Professional Representation: Represent Liberty Health in a professional manner when dealing with medical providers and patients, fostering positive relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments for patients, maintaining accurate calendars and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Log Management: Maintain required logs of each transport and vehicle, tracking mileage, maintenance records, and other relevant information.
- Routine Maintenance: Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out on any vehicle driven to transport residents, guaranteeing the safety and reliability of our fleet.
- Maintenance Schedule: Establish and maintain a maintenance schedule for each vehicle used in transports, preventing unexpected breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
- Community Relationships: Develop and maintain good working relationships with local communities, hospitals, and healthcare facilities, ensuring seamless coordination of services for our patients.
- Patient Support: Assist patients by taking specimens and other items to the hospital or medical clinic as requested, providing exceptional care and attention to their needs.
- Sourcing: Make purchases from local suppliers as requested by facility staff, sourcing essential goods and services efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- 21 years of age or older, with a genuine concern for the elderly and disabled.
- Current registration with DFS as a Nursing Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician in North Carolina.
- CPR certification via the American Heart Association.
- Able to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments.
- Able to make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
- Able to be flexible in performing different tasks.
- Transportation experience preferred.
