ROLE SUMMARY

The Community Marketing Manager will spearhead the planning and execution of diverse community events aimed at generating a substantial volume of qualified leads for clinical research initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Direct the Events Team to produce qualified leads that align with organizational screening objectives.
  2. Identify the target demographics for each clinical trial protocol and craft events tailored to engage these audiences.
  3. Manage all aspects of event logistics, including conceptualization, venue selection, contract negotiations, procurement of supplies, staffing, and related tasks.
  4. Provide on-site assistance to the Events Team during events.
  5. Monitor and evaluate event performance metrics, particularly the volume and quality of leads generated, and utilize this data to inform strategic decisions and enhance future events. Incorporate feedback from attendees and collaborate with marketing and recruitment teams for continuous improvement.
  6. Collaborate with sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to secure reimbursement for events.
  7. Ensure all events uphold a professional image and align with the branding and messaging standards of Charter Research.
  8. Proactively identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  9. Handle escalated situations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring appropriate resolutions.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. This includes interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; coaching and mentoring team members; and addressing complaints and resolving issues. Responsible for the overall management and evaluation of the Events team.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong analytical capabilities to derive insights from event data for future enhancements.
  3. Outstanding organizational and planning abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  4. High motivation and work ethic to advance the company’s event initiatives.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing responsibilities.
  6. Broad understanding of all actively enrolling and upcoming clinical trials.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's degree is required.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  3. Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
  4. Proven experience in leading and motivating a team is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Extended periods of standing, bending, reaching, lifting, moving, assembling, and loading/unloading vehicles.
  2. Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
  3. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
