Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by the Seminole Tribe.
- Prepare a variety of beverages following established recipes and standards.
- Report directly to the supervisor of the assigned outlet.
- Fulfill reasonable requests from Pool Bar Management.
- Serve guests in accordance with established service protocols.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accountability for issued checks, excluding casino floor operations.
- Foster positive customer relations and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage monetary transactions and settle guest checks in compliance with relevant policies.
- Promote a positive atmosphere for both guests and employees.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a certification in Mixology. A minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume bartending environment is preferred. T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification are advantageous.
Work Environment:
- May encounter environmental factors associated with casino operations, including secondhand smoke and elevated noise levels.
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands are required; must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
- The work environment is fast-paced, often crowded, and noisy, with constant interaction with the public.
- Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests and fulfilling job responsibilities.
Closing Statement:
The Tribal Council prioritizes Native American applicants in all employment practices. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet job qualifications.
As part of the employment process, final candidates will undergo a background check to obtain gaming licensure, which may include credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screening.
