Job Summary:
The Foodservice Worker is responsible for performing essential tasks related to the portioning and serving of meals, as well as the sanitation of tableware, equipment, and work areas. This role adheres to specific cleaning and waste disposal protocols mandated by regulatory authorities, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained throughout the operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Food Service Worker, you will be tasked with a variety of duties within the food service sector, including but not limited to:

  • Preparation, packaging, and delivery of food items.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all food service areas in compliance with management and regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring and recording temperatures of food and storage environments, such as refrigerators and freezers.
  • Arranging food trays for immediate service or for storage in refrigerated cabinets.
  • Measuring and weighing ingredients as required.
  • Receiving and organizing food supplies, equipment, and utensils in designated storage areas.
  • Handling cash transactions as necessary.

This position is typically performed in an office-like environment. The Foodservice Worker is accountable for fulfilling all job-specific responsibilities and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
