Job Overview

The Crew Member plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant by performing various tasks assigned within the establishment. This includes providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and fostering teamwork.

The Crew Member is expected to deliver prompt service, address guest inquiries and concerns, and adhere to all safety and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the training program to acquire new skills and understand job responsibilities
    • Inform supervisors when additional training is required
    • Recognize how each role contributes to guest satisfaction and overall restaurant efficiency
    • Welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive demeanor, including addressing questions
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare menu items while following cooking guidelines, safety measures, and hygiene standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, ice cream machines, and warmers
  • Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing kitchen tools and high-touch areas
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and composure, resolving issues in line with restaurant policies
    • Present a neat appearance by adhering to the uniform policy
  • Focus on performance and understand expectations and results
  • Follow the directives of the restaurant management team

The Crew Member will thrive in a fast-paced environment, engaging with guests, collaborating with colleagues to complete tasks, and performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Requirements:

  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines
  • Support the management team's goals and decisions, contributing to the restaurant's success by consistently meeting performance expectations
    • Communicate effectively with team members and management to resolve interpersonal issues as necessary
    • Follow all guidelines for food and cash management to minimize costs and properly utilize resources
  • Preferred: Current student or high school diploma/GED
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic environment
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all tasks
  • Commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues and management
  • Reliable transportation to the workplace
  • Must have a reliable method of communication with supervisors and team members
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to view operations from a guest's perspective
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs comfortably

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour
