Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Pep Boys. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, identify areas for improvement, and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and services to effectively communicate with customers and promote our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement and maintain high standards of customer service, quality, and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
  • Climb up and down ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise.
  • Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment.
  • Enters and locates information on computer.
  • Presents information to small and large groups.
  • Visually verifies information, often in small print.
  • Safely operates a motor vehicle.
