Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Development: Actively manage the supply base, driving supplier performance and development initiatives.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve supplier delivery, quality, or commercial issues.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to optimize procurement processes and make informed decisions.
  • Global Impact: Collaborate with international teams to leverage purchasing opportunities across all regions in the business unit.
  • Results Delivery: Achieve or exceed category-related goals such as cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier rationalization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience with a focus on strategic sourcing.
  • Extensive experience in global sourcing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems (preferred).
  • Previous experience with Electro-Mechanical or Electrical categories.
