Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and evaluate medical histories.
- Request and analyze diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory work.
- Identify and manage acute medical conditions, infections, and injuries.
- Prescribe suitable medications and treatment plans for various health issues.
- Educate patients and provide guidance on preventive health practices and treatment alternatives.
- Work collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals to create and execute treatment strategies.
- Ensure precise medical documentation and record-keeping for all patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Compliance with state and federal licensure standards, including DEA regulations.
- BLS certification.
- Familiarity with state and federal guidelines, including OSHA and HIPAA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress setting.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Understanding of medical coding and billing practices.
- Proficient decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and staff.
- Competence in standard PC applications, including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
