The Financial Planning Specialist within the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) division will deliver fiscal support and strategic insights to their business associates. This role involves leading and assisting in financial projections and budgeting through collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization. The individual will routinely analyze and communicate monthly performance results to Finance Management, prepare month-end financial reports, and conduct monthly reviews of actuals alongside variance analysis with department leaders.
The Financial Planning Specialist will work closely with the Director of FP&A to prepare forward-looking analyses and forecasts, manage key performance indicator scorecards, and create financial presentations for internal executive management. They will also develop financial models for pricing strategies, collaborative business ventures, and evaluations of product development initiatives. Additional ad-hoc financial analyses may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferred, including forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and ERP systems
- Self-motivated, innovative thinker with strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Excel and financial modeling is advantageous
- Solid understanding of Accounting Principles
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability: Maintains effectiveness when facing significant changes in work tasks or environment, adjusting effectively to new structures, processes, and cultures.
