Marketing Manager Position Overview

The American Bar Association seeks a seasoned marketing professional to drive business growth and develop marketing strategies for our organization. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive marketing plans that attract new members, retain existing ones, and increase revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the ABA's overall business objectives.
  • Create targeted marketing initiatives to drive membership growth, retention, and revenue increases.
  • Collaborate with leadership and members to create promotional strategies that enhance the value of membership in the ABA.
  • Manage the design, production, and delivery of marketing messages across various channels.
  • Lead and mentor a team of direct reports, providing coaching, counseling, and performance feedback.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least six years of experience in marketing, including responsibilities such as fulfilling annual revenue goals, creating and distributing marketing collateral, and developing marketing plans.
  • Previous experience managing marketing budgets, reporting on spend and return-on-investment, and using influencing and communications skills to garner consensus on marketing initiatives.
Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package that includes 401(k), medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health spending accounts, supplemental life and disability insurance, prepaid legal programs, and a complimentary membership to the American Bar Association.
