The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Safety Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective safety programs for our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project safety programs
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and guidance to project staff and subcontractors on safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of project planning and execution
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and develop recommendations for preventing future occurrences
  • Develop and maintain safety records and reports, including incident reports, safety audits, and training records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in safety management, with a focus on construction or a related industry
  • OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation and OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project staff, subcontractors, and clients
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate construction sites
