About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facility Technician to join our team at 24 Hour Fitness. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clubs, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of the facility to identify repair and maintenance needs
  • Partner with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to discuss club maintenance requirements
  • Maintain and oversee the maintenance of the pool, spa, steam, and sauna facilities to ensure proper chemical balances and general servicing
  • Procure repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment as needed
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including upkeep of associated logs and history files
  • Perform monthly OSHA safety checks and model all OSHA, company, and facilities department safety guidelines
  • Connect with members on the floor to enhance their club experience
Requirements
  • General experience in repair and maintenance of equipment and physical buildings
  • General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment
  • 2 years' experience in operations/maintenance preferred
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in priority management and agility in responding to shifting priorities
  • General understanding of computer skills, including email
  • Previous experience in health club maintenance strongly preferred
  • Availability for overtime work
  • Reliable transportation
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and daily duties that include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, and remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
