Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Daycare Teacher at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a key member of our childcare center, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of each child and classroom.
- Supervise and evaluate programs on an ongoing basis, providing guidance and support to classroom teachers as needed.
- Prepare and maintain a warm and safe environment that promotes growth and development, including preparing materials and resources for activities and lessons.
- Observe, record, and report significant individual or group behaviors to supervisor, maintaining accurate records and files.
- Use positive discipline methods and work with parents to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Recruit children, process applications, and maintain enrollment numbers, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
- Communicate with parents regarding policies, procedures, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of child development patterns, emotional maturity, and stability.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive environment, utilizing good judgment in crisis situations.
- Experience in a childcare setting, with a minimum of 6 semester hours of credit in related fields.
