Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a key member of our childcare center, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of each child, promoting their emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Supervise and evaluate programs, providing guidance and support to classroom teachers to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Manage classroom environments, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized space that promotes creativity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their child's education.
- Recruit and enroll children, processing applications and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate with dietary staff to ensure nutritious meals meet the needs of our young learners.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
- Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, or equivalent.
- At least 1560 clock hours of experience in a childcare setting, with a focus on school-age children.
- Knowledge of child development principles, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- A competitive hourly wage of $17-18.
