Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team, with minor supervision.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
  • Apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime due to equipment failure.
  • Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals.
  • Work with pumps, hydraulics, and welding, and demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical theory, system wiring, and installation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience; must have experience in hydraulics, welding, and compressed air systems.
  • Education: 1 year of maintenance experience education preferred (I.E. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience. Electrician license or journeyman license preferred.
  • Basic computer skills necessary to log information, process daily work orders, and complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend and stoop.
  • Repetitive gripping, pushing and pulling.
  • Frequent overhead work.
  • Temperatures inside plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Compensation

Salary: $24.00 to $34.00 Per Hour. Rotating shift. Shifts are 5:00am to 5:00pm or 5:00pm – 5:00am. 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, and 2 days off. Some Sunday work is required.
