PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – LUKE

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Must possess a Certificate in Pharmacy Technology.
  • Qualifications: Candidates should have one of the following:
    • Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program recognized by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
    • Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program (technical, hospital, or retail-based).
    • Graduation from a formal medical services training program within the United States Military.
  • Certification: Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and have completed a Basic Life Support (BLS) course through the American Heart Association.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience as a pharmacy technician post-graduation.
  • Citizenship: Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
  • Language Proficiency: Individuals must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods and performing all necessary tasks.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Services are provided Monday through Friday, between 0600 and 1800 hours.
  • Shifts typically last between 8.5 to 9 hours, including an unpaid lunch break of 30 to 60 minutes.
  • No employee will be required to work more than 80 hours in a two-week period.
