Job Summary

Tesla is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in designing and developing automotive battery systems.

This role involves full product design responsibility, from concept through production launch and ramp. The successful candidate will advance product performance while driving down cost and mass, develop new technologies, and collaborate with other teams inside Tesla.

The salary for this position is estimated at $130,000 - $230,000 per year, depending on location and individual qualifications. Additionally, the total compensation package includes cash and stock awards, as well as comprehensive benefits.
