Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Nursing Policy and Procedure: Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Staff Development and Management: Oversee the hiring, training, and continued education of nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Nursing Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure adequate nursing staffing levels and develop effective scheduling strategies to meet the needs of our residents.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Investigate and report incidents in a timely and thorough manner, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to prevent future occurrences.
- Resident Care and Assessment: Assess the health needs of each resident and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Education: Current State RN license required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care and 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Evidence of strong leadership and supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of nursing staff.
