About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our Weekend Shifts at a skilled nursing facility in Minoa, NY. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling all supervisory duties for the assigned unit, establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures, mentoring less experienced nurses, and maintaining the standards of care for the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient care and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current NYS RN License.
  • 2 years of Long Term Care experience preferred.
  • 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
