Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Accountability: Take ownership of business objectives that yield results. Formulate strategies to enhance throughput, cycle time, quality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring KPI transparency and reporting.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold superior loan quality standards. Enhance compliance and standardization across operations, including audits and client experience management.
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in fulfillment processes through tactical execution and a data-driven approach. Collaborate on system enhancements to boost efficiency and support digital initiatives aimed at automating operations.
  • Team Leadership: Contribute to the development of operational frameworks, compensation structures, and leadership succession plans within the team. Shape long-term strategies and priorities for the mortgage operations division in collaboration with other departments.
  • Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes innovation and unlocks team potential.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in mortgage loan operations or related fields; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in FHA, VA, Conventional, and Automated Underwriting (DU) processes.
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory compliance landscape in the mortgage sector.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for creative problem-solving and driving corporate culture.
  • Proven success in process design and optimization, along with team leadership experience.
  • Experience managing and developing teams of 5 to 10 individuals.
