Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing intraoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance monitoring and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift moderate weights, push stretchers/beds/wheelchairs, and stand for long periods of time.
