Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, energetic, and collaborative environment where you will play a critical role in the operating room and peri-operative care of patients.

As a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, assisting with the peri-operative care of patients, and working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setting up and cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, including preparing patients for surgery and providing support during the procedure.
  • Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting required.
  • Preferred experience: Associate degree, 4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting, committee and leadership experience, and Basic Life Support (BSLS).
