Clinical Reviewer

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to review and make recommendations on consumer assessments for long term care services and supports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory changes and be able to assess cases presented and utilize clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Review and make recommendations on consumer assessments for long term care services and supports
Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes pertaining to quality and validity of assessments
Assess cases presented and utilize clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes
Work collaboratively to monitor and address clinical quality and gaps in care
Provide clinical and educational assistance to support project initiatives
Demonstrate communication skills necessary to interpret age-specific responses
Participate in performance, improvement, and quality assurance activities and related meetings
Requirements
Current NY Nurse Practitioner Licensure
Proof of Board of Certification
Proof of Malpractice Insurance showing professional liability coverage of 1M per incident/3M agg
2+ years practicing experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Computer literacy and the ability to navigate new and emerging technology
Must meet BYOD requirements
Highly developed written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with proven ability to work with community groups
Additional Requirements
Upon credentialing, all candidates will need the following or willingness for the following vaccinations:
Physical exam signed and dated by a physician within the last year
PPD or QuantiFeron (within 1 year) or chest X-ray with Questionnaires (every 5 years)
TDAP within 10 years
Quantitative Titers for MMR & Varicella
Hepatitis B vaccination schedule or
Declination Form Also Accepted
Proof of Covid19 Vaccine
Proof of Flu Vaccine
