The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in advanced practice nursing, with experience in cardiovascular specialty practice services. This role requires collaboration with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision/management of patient care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective care based on competency and evidence-based clinical practice and research.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical Care: Oversight of clinical nursing/provider outpatient practices and care rendered in inpatient hospitals.
- Evidence-Based Program/Services Development: Collaboration with physicians and administrative practice leaders to provide applicable clinical expertise, clinical leadership, and programmatic development for assigned cardiovascular specialty practice services.
- Education and Oversight: Supervision of affiliated specialty Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and clinical support staff, including management of appropriate coverage, evaluations, education, and training.
- Marketing, Program Growth, and Professional Contribution: Participation in recruitment, onboarding, and retention within the practice, as well as contribution to national and regional influencer roles through organization memberships, committee participation, publications, presentations, and research.
