Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Good News Home Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to support individuals struggling with addiction by providing education, guidance, and assistance in accessing treatment services.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate project logs, reports, and records in designated files and databases.
- Provide comprehensive recovery education to service recipients throughout the recovery journey.
- Serve as a role model and mentor, promoting long-term recovery and preventing relapse.
- Develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships and facilitate self-directed recovery planning.
- Promote self-advocacy by assisting recovering persons to have their voices heard and needs addressed.
- Foster connections to community resources and professional services that support individual goals and interests.
- Maintain ongoing contact with service recipients after program completion to ensure continued success and provide re-engagement support if needed.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
