Compensation

The estimated hourly wage for this position ranges from $45.21 to $67.78, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure may vary based on factors such as specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in similar roles.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Specialist III to provide comprehensive imaging services in our special procedures department. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competence in radiography and possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality imaging services using x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Assist Radiologists during all special procedures.
  • Maintain professional judgment in performance of services and adhere to medical ethics standards.
  • Recognize patient conditions essential to successful completion of procedures and provide appropriate patient care.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated documented competence in Special Procedures, minimum of two years as a radiographer.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and advanced certification ARRT (VI).
  • Licensed by the State of Nevada in Radiography.
