Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at IEC Property Services Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of our communities meet our high standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete assigned tenant-generated work requests for services daily and within established time frames.
  • Perform unit turns and unit rehabs, including replacing blinds, outlet cover plates, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, closet doors, and basic unit repairs.
  • Maintain order at workstations and management's storage area, managing inventory for basic building supplies such as light bulbs, paint, and building equipment.
  • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas, recognizing danger and safety hazards, and proposing methods to eliminate them.
  • Maintain cleanliness of property grounds and all common areas.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services, and completing assigned work orders with efficiency and urgency.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CA driver's license and auto insurance.
  • At least 2-3 years of recent supervisory maintenance, facilities, and/or handyman experience.
  • Ability to take direction from management and complete tasks on time and in an efficient manner.
  • Must be available for on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies, including weekends.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
