Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Administer Service Department Budget: Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor Department Performance: Utilize reporting and tracking systems to monitor and control the performance of the department, identifying areas for improvement.
- Technician Productivity and Payroll Management: Monitor technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records, ensuring accurate compensation and efficient operations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business, fostering a positive reputation for Rush Truck Centers.
- Partnerships and Recruitment: Develop and maintain relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance personnel recruitment activities, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Pricing and Menu Development: Prepare pricing guides and maintenance menus for frequent labor operations, optimizing service offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Satisfaction and Feedback: Establish and maintain 72-hour follow-up with customers to confirm satisfaction with service, gathering valuable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Reporting and Compliance: Maintain reporting systems required by general management and corporate personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
