Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Admitting Manager, the coordinator will:
1. Conduct thorough interviews with patients and their guarantors, clearly explaining hospital policies, financial responsibilities, and the rights of patients.
2. Facilitate the admission process by ensuring accurate patient identification and collecting essential demographic and insurance information, along with necessary signatures and documentation.

Insurance Verification:
The coordinator is responsible for verifying and authorizing insurance benefits for all accounts, utilizing electronic systems or liaising with third-party payors to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.

Eligibility Checks:
Tasks include:
- Checking eligibility and benefits
- Understanding authorization and billing requirements
- Submitting admission notices to payors as required.

Patient Support:
Provide information regarding financial assistance programs and collect co-payments along with other patient liabilities. Ensure all financial and admission data is accurately entered into the hospital's information systems.

Collaboration:
The Patient Admission Coordinator will also be responsible for filing, entering, and distributing patient information as needed across various departments within the hospital.
