Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant Health. As an SLPA, you will work closely with our Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions to support students' communication needs.
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to improve their communication skills and develop strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Implement therapy plans and techniques developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist to ensure students receive the best possible care.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of individualized education plans and ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
