Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Summary: Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists in a school-based environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication sciences and disorders, as well as experience working with students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Assist in administering assessments and screenings to identify speech and language challenges.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions for students, incorporating various therapy techniques and activities.
  • Monitor and adjust therapy plans as needed, based on client progress and feedback from the supervising speech-language pathologist.
  • Support the use and maintenance of specialized therapy equipment and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or a related field.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
  • Valid SLPA license or certification (if required in your state).
  • Solid knowledge of speech and language development, as well as familiarity with common speech and language disorders.
