This role involves the setup and dismantling of the packaging line under the direct oversight of the Building or Shift Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and break down the packaging line.
- Select appropriate materials while ensuring compliance with Lot, Item, and Location sensitive information.
- Understand and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively.
- Monitor production rates while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide meticulous attention to detail and proactively address any issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular quality checks and notify management of any concerns.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Additional tasks and projects may be assigned as needed.
Compliance with company policies and procedures is mandatory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or contract packaging environment.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Previous customer interaction experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to read, interpret, and comply with written instructions and documents.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with data and numerical accuracy.
- Skills in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to manage challenging situations and devise effective solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications and related technology.
- Capacity to maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred, along with valid certification or training.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends, based on operational needs.
- May be required to work at different locations.
