Job Title: Special Procedures Tech EP/Interventional

Job Summary:

Baptist Health is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team in the Interventional and Electrophysiology (EP) suites. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will operate radiographic equipment, perform scrub assist roles, and record patient information.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiographic equipment in the Cath Lab under the direction of a cardiologist
  • Perform scrub assist role during invasive procedures
  • Record patient information and evaluate their response to procedures
  • Assist with various procedures, including balloon angioplasty, coronary stenting, and device implants
  • Work collaboratively with a team of pre and post-procedure nurses to facilitate prep, recovery, and throughput

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with an active Kentucky license
  • Active KBMIRT and ARRT certification required
  • 1 year of experience in special procedures preferred
  • BCLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required within 1 year

Work Schedule:

Flexible scheduling for shifts that consist of 8 or 10 hours. Interventional team members will be required to call 7 shifts per month, every fourth weekend with a competitive call rate. EP team members will have no call, no weekends, and no holidays, with rotating late shifts.
