Overview

At UofL Health, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center. As a member of our imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

We are a world-renowned team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of hand surgery. Our team has a long history of innovation and excellence, having pioneered numerous groundbreaking procedures, including the first successful hand transplants and total distal radial joint replacements.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a specialized area of upper extremity imaging, including hand, forearm, elbow, and upper arm. You will also have the chance to cross-train in clinic and learn the modality of an open-sided MRI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations according to established protocols
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique
  • Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure
  • Assist the radiologist with intricate radiographic examinations

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with ARRT and KY Radiation Operators Certification
  • CPR-Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidays
