What You'll Contribute

We are in search of a highly skilled, licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer who thrives on the complexities of designing manufacturing facility systems.

Your role will involve creating both conceptual and detailed designs for mechanical systems, encompassing HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, piping, and specialized systems such as compressed air, steam, and industrial gas distribution.


Mechanical System Design:
Lead the engineering and design of mechanical systems within manufacturing environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Equipment Specifications:
Assess and determine the optimal sizes for equipment to ensure the efficient operation of mechanical systems.

HVAC Systems:

Design systems that include air handling units, chemical and laminar fume hoods, unit heaters/coolers, and other HVAC components to maintain ideal environmental conditions.


Fluid Systems:

Engineer systems for water, chilled water, wastewater, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam or hot water, hydronic systems, compressed gases (air, O2, N2, CO2), waste/drain, and other plumbing systems.


Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure all mechanical designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

Software Expertise:
Utilize industry-standard software such as REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks for modeling, simulation, and design.

Client Engagement:

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical insights, and develop solutions that align with their objectives.


Quality Management:
Implement and uphold quality control processes to guarantee that mechanical designs meet the highest standards and client expectations.

Team Collaboration:
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and contractors to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems into larger projects.

Project Oversight:
Manage the mechanical engineering components of projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
What You'll Bring
A Professional Engineering (PE) license is essential.

A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing mechanical systems for manufacturing facilities.

Demonstrated expertise in equipment sizing, HVAC systems, and various mechanical systems specific to manufacturing environments.

Comprehensive knowledge of water, chilled water, wastewater, cooling towers/condensers, boiler/steam or hot water systems, hydronic systems, compressed gases (air, O2, N2, CO2), waste/drain, and other plumbing systems.

Proficiency in industry-standard software, including REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel for project needs.
Able to perform as a Mechanical Engineer and execute mechanical design on multi-discipline projects.
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution required.
