We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage the financial transactions related to vendor and employee payments. This role is essential in ensuring that our agency maintains accurate and timely financial operations. Key responsibilities will include reviewing invoices, processing payments, and managing expense reports, among other related tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete accounts payable process:
    • Verify invoice accuracy
    • Secure necessary approvals
    • Assign appropriate department and program codes
    • Execute check and ACH payments
  • Provide comprehensive accounting support, including the reconciliation of relevant general ledger accounts
  • Assist in analyzing financial statements
  • Engage in annual audit and budgeting activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Professional experience in a similar financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Sage Intacct is advantageous)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records
  • Meticulous attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Capability to set objectives, manage time effectively, and adhere to deadlines
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
