Event Support Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Support Specialist to join our team at ASM Global. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of events at our venues.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all necessary equipment and furniture are in place and in good working order.

* Collaborate with event coordinators and production teams to understand event requirements and develop effective plans for setup and breakdown.

* Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in event areas, including restocking supplies and reporting any damages or issues to supervisors.

* Work closely with team members to meet tight deadlines and ensure seamless event execution.

* Follow safety protocols and guidelines during changeover processes, and report any incidents or near-misses to supervisors.

* Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to supervisors.

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.

* 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as event support, facilities management, or customer service.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
