Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume and phone screens, candidate interviews, and recommend the final selection of applicants.
  • Job Posting: Place and update all job postings through various channels, including internet and intranet sites, colleges, and staffing partners.
  • Recruitment Administration: Create job order forms, maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed.
  • Pre-Employment Testing: Arrange pre-employment testing, background and reference screenings.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Assist with the new hire onboarding process by ensuring new hires have completed all their new hire paperwork before starting and sending out information regarding their first day.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with the Midway Branch Manager and Midway Clients on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Recruitment Events: Attend and participate in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
  • Candidate Database: Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a MUST.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Time Management: Self-starter with excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation needed for required travel (up to 10%).
  • Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
