Residential Care Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Residential Assistant will provide support and guidance to residents in a community housing setting, promoting a safe and healthy living environment. This role will involve mentoring, teaching daily living skills, and assisting with household operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor residents in daily living skills, such as cooking, personal grooming, and interpersonal communication.
- Assist with household operations, including shopping, chore planning, and residential maintenance.
- Respond to emergency situations and report incidents to supervisors.
- Plan and provide social, recreational, and educational activities for residents.
- Empower residents with the recovery model process, promoting self-directed living and personal growth.
- Document clinical information and participate in clinical supervision with mental health professionals.
- Adhere to MHK's community housing program description and playbook, including service philosophy and resident handbook.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
