- Manages all aspects of clinic operations, including but not limited to scheduling, patient registration, accounts receivable, health information management, provider recruitment, imaging, laboratory, and clinical services. Acts as a liaison with corporate departments that offer and support these functions.
- Collaborates with other departments and leadership to guarantee quality patient services and overall satisfaction. Responsible for addressing any patient concerns, complaints, or issues.
- Advocates for the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. Develops, implements, and oversees processes to ensure that established policies and objectives are met.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and relationships with physicians and advanced practice professionals. Oversees all provider relations, including practice management, orientation, ongoing support, and issue resolution.
- Engages in community initiatives and contributes to the development, implementation, and assessment of business and market growth strategies.
- Formulates and enforces policies and procedures to achieve department-specific and organizational goals. Ensures compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
- Handles human resources responsibilities for staff, including recruitment and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation adjustments, resolution of employee issues, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
- Creates and recommends operating and capital budgets while managing expenditures within approved budgetary limits.
- Ensures understanding and adherence to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct, ensuring that personal actions and those of supervised employees comply with applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
- No specific licensure required.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Health Care Administration or a related field.
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in a healthcare facility, including knowledge and experience in medical practice and clinic management, operational structures, and clinic policies and procedures. Includes at least 1 year of supervisory experience managing staff and overseeing budgets and resources.
- Proven leadership abilities, including project management, process enhancement, problem-solving, decision-making, prioritization, delegation, team building, customer service, and conflict resolution.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively and positively engage with physicians and employees at all levels within the organization and the public.
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including experience with applications in a medical practice environment.
- Generally works in a standard office environment.
- Position requires travel between clinic locations, exposing the individual to various road and weather conditions.
- Operates all necessary equipment to perform job functions.
