Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures at Prevea Clinic. As a member of the operating room team, you will be responsible for maintaining aseptic technique, preparing equipment and supplies, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform aseptic technique in the operating room to maintain a sterile environment
  • Properly utilize and clean instruments and equipment used in the operating room
  • Assist with surgical procedures and anticipate the needs of the surgeon
  • Work with the circulating nurse and other members of the O.R. team to prepare the O.R. suite and gather necessary equipment and instruments
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree from an approved Surgical Technology program
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
