About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Digital Media Advertising team at Amadeus. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading sales and developing strong relationships with media advertising agencies and their travel clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand partnerships with media advertising agencies and their travel clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for consumer and business media.
  • Consult and educate media advertising agencies and their teams about Amadeus' unique market position and capabilities.
  • Represent Amadeus at industry events, conferences, and market trips.
  • Develop key relationships with media advertising agencies, airlines, and travel marketing decision-makers in the US.
  • Identify customer-specific needs and leverage custom solutions across our product suite.
  • Lead generation and pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with the Amadeus media team to refine and improve go-to-market planning.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in digital media advertising sales.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media sales to media advertising agencies working with travel holding companies and large independent shops.
  • Proven experience of achieving quarterly and yearly sales targets in excess of $3M.
  • Advanced knowledge of ad tech and the vendor ecosystem.
  • Experience with airline, attraction, and cruise clients highly valued; strong understanding of the travel ecosystem preferred.
  • Ability to influence senior-level executives, strong presentation/communication skills, and high energy and passion.
  • Strong network within the hospitality/travel and tourism industry highly preferred.
  • Competent in Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Ability to travel 25-30%.
