Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead comprehensive requirements gathering through interviews, document analysis, surveys, workshops, and site visits to capture functional and technical requirements from state agencies.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with agency partners to ensure alignment of project goals and seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with state agencies, development teams, and UI designers to define clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and transform high-level information into detailed, actionable insights.

  • Create detailed documentation, including user scenarios and screen mock-ups, to clearly convey project vision and requirements.

  • Support the development lifecycle, participating actively from project inception through implementation and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in information systems, business, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of four years of job-related experience.
  • Customer Interaction Skills: Exhibit a positive attitude and patience when dealing with customers, regardless of their technical background.
  • Self-Motivation and Multitasking: Demonstrate self-motivation with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and deliver results that exceed customer expectations.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, highly flexible, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Team and Independent Work: Enjoy working both independently and within project teams, contributing effectively to collaborative efforts.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies (JIRA), low-code SaaS platforms, and experience in creating detailed project specifications and test plans.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for necessary on-site customer engagement.
  • Additional Skills: Prior experience with workflow or data transaction solutions, microservices design and development. Knowledge of Internet-based application security principles and Drupal open-source CMS/CMF is a plus.
