The Water Treatment Solutions Consultant will focus on identifying, nurturing, and managing both existing and prospective accounts within the broader market. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to deliver customized water treatment programs that meet their unique requirements. This position is remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage current accounts, secure orders, and develop new accounts by strategically organizing daily activities to engage with existing or potential sales outlets and other relevant trade factors.
  • Oversee and execute all sales initiatives within the designated territory, including lead generation, cold outreach, and setting appointments.
  • Promote and sell maintenance services to both new and existing Chem-Aqua clients.
  • Provide hands-on service to accounts, which includes chemical testing, calibration and repair of chemical feed equipment, and conducting visual inspections of systems as needed.
  • Plan and schedule service and sales visits, which involves daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Identify emerging business needs and opportunities, and create tailored solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Experience in water treatment, hygiene, environmental health and safety, or secondary disinfection is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven record of success.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience collaborating with teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in environments involving HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler equipment, which may include exposure to chemicals, noise, extreme temperatures, and inclement weather.
  • Must possess good physical fitness, as the role requires frequent walking to and from work sites.
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends as necessary for account servicing.
  • Required activities include climbing and descending stairs and ladders (10-30 feet high), sometimes while carrying chemical drums weighing up to 50 pounds while maintaining a 3-point ladder contact as per OSHA regulations. The available ladders have a weight limit of 375 pounds.
  • Ability to wear protective gear for face, ears, and hands.
  • 35% travel is required.
