Position Overview

The City of Providence is looking for dedicated individuals to assist survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence, as well as sexual assault, in their pursuit of stable housing, recovery, and independence. If you are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, this position may be ideal for you.

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma with at least one year of relevant experience is required; an Associate's Degree or higher in a human or social services field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Community Health Worker is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in providing housing assistance services within the state is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with fluency in both languages recognized and compensated accordingly.
